Grantchester

There aren't many places in Cambridge more special than Grantchester Meadows and the orchard, let's go there for some drawing as the seasons slowly turn.

I'm suggesting the tea room as a meeting point but you don't have to stay there, it's only a short way to the meadows and the river, where there are wonderful things to sketch, either close or far away.

There is a car park at the orchard which supposedly you can use for 3 hours if you're a customer, register your license plate at the till. The Grantchester seasonal car park will be closed I believe, but you can find roadside parking around the village.
