Sheep’s Green and the Granta pub
Details
Sheep’s Green is part of the Sheep’s Green and Coe Fen nature reserve:
https://www.cambridge.gov.uk/sheeps-green-and-coe-fen-local-nature-reserve
There are some lovely (but challenging!) willow trees to draw.
We will meet at the Granta pub, 14 Newnham Terrace, Cambridge
CB3 9EX at 2pm. At 5pm we will meet again at the same spot to share our work.
If the weather is bad we can take shelter in the pub and draw from their balcony overlooking Mill Pond (see photo). The balcony has a roof but is open to the elements, so you will need warm clothes if you plan to sit there. Be aware Sheep’s Green can be muddy, if you plan to venture away from the pub.
As usual, please bring your own art materials. If you arrive late, just look for the people sketching. A sketching stool may be useful but is not essential.
