What we're about

Saint Louis Drawing & Painting Group offers an environment for artists of all levels to converge and find their way creatively. We hope to offer community, training, information and other resources that guide the artist to self-improvement and challenge in areas they can share passion and enlightenment.

Artists

We have a wide range of artists, print-makers, painters, models, performers, poets and musicians gathering in this space. No matter whether you are a rough beginner or a seasoned professional, your love of the arts is welcome here. Lastly, this is a safe place so no voyeurs, or lurkers please.

Note: Because there is alcohol at many of our events and nude figure drawing, it is advisable that artists be 18 years old or older, or accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is for the protection of young artists and our art group.

Opportunities

We have and an Artist's and Educators page that members can list and promote classes they teach, with prices, times, and mediums! SO PLEASE CHECK IT OUT!

Though we don't formally critique unless it is requested or a specific forum is set for such things, we do like to encourage and foster the self-development of an artist and their work. We like to make connections between artists and open avenues for promoting, selling and networking about arts.

We are friendly. Please show up, ask questions, enjoy a spirited conversation and make some art. Everyone will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have and share techniques, tips, etc.

See you soon! :-)
