Urban Sketching at CAM Raleigh

Details
Here we go, baby: This is a monthly event (2nd Saturdays) hosted through the Contemporary Art Museum. Open to all skill levels interested in exercising, exploring or expanding their drawing skills.
The group meets inside of CAM Raleigh and then enters the urban settings surrounding the museum in the Warehouse District, and sometimes further into downtown Raleigh. Pausing at inspiring vistas, ignored buildings, curious landscapes, or forgotten details, the goal of the Urban Drawing group is to take time to study our surroundings and exercise our dormant drawing skills.
All media that can pack into a pocket, backpack, or purse are encouraged and participants please bring your own supplies. Participants please check-in at the CAM Raleigh front desk upon arrival. The group will depart CAM Raleigh shortly after 2:00 p.m., please arrive early so you have time to check in.
Josia's note: even though organizer Scott Renk is one of our members, this is not an official "TSC" event-- it's run through CAM Raleigh. It's a big, friendly group, with a great leader in Scott. If you have further questions contact CAM at 919 261 5920.
