Permission to Brag: Celebrate Your Wins and Build Your Confidence
Details
When was the last time you really let yourself be proud of something…
and didn’t follow it with “Oh, it’s not a big deal,” or “Anyone could’ve done it”?
Most of us are experts at downplaying ourselves.
We brush off compliments, rush past our wins, and focus on everything we haven’t done yet.
Then we wonder why confidence feels so hard.
This meetup is your official permission to brag.
Not in a cocky way—in a truth-telling, “I’m allowed to be proud of myself” way.
In this live, interactive session we’ll:
- Notice the sneaky ways you minimize your strengths and successes
- Do a playful “Bragging Rights” exercise where you actually say your wins out loud (yes, it might feel awkward—and yes, it’s powerful)
- Talk about what happens in your brain when you celebrate yourself vs. when you constantly criticize yourself
- Create a simple way to keep this going so that bragging (without guilt) becomes a habit, not a one-time event
You’ll leave with:
- A personalized list of “Bragging Rights” you can come back to on the days you feel small
- A new way to think about confidence—built from the inside out, not from waiting for someone else’s approval
- A little more proof that you are doing better than you give yourself credit for
Who it’s for:
Anyone who is tired of being their own worst critic and are ready to practice seeing themselves the way everyone else already does.
What to bring:
- A pen and paper (or journal)
- One or two things you’re willing to maybe brag about—even if your first instinct is “that doesn’t count”
You don’t have to come in feeling confident.
You just have to be willing to show up, tell the truth about how amazing you actually are, and let that sink in—just a little.
