Walk: Old Walthamstow & notable places + pub

Walthamstow old village has some interesting buildings that I'd love to tell you about.
We'll start at the high street, and will also swing by the William Morris Gallery and walk through its gardens. We'll pass a historic admin office where I can give you a short summary of what transport had to do with Walthamstow. Film production and cinemas were alato big business in "Awe-thamstow", who knew?
We'll see the old church, some almshouses (you'll hear a bit about Mary Squire who founded one), the old townhall and a former school.
We'll end the walk with drinks in a pub that I like. Hopefully we can sit outdoors.
