Details

Offbeat comedy, dark comedy? The best of Irish (and Scottish) talent? Don't mind if I do!

The user reviews on imdb are lots better than the rather silly summary that you find in many places so I won't repeat that one here. I must say that I'm very intrigued by the reviews!
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0332658/reviews/

Please note that this film contains some violence, some of it might be quite gratuitious (I haven't seen it before, so can't be sure), judging by the description in some reviews.

Roger Ebert review: "The movie is a dark comedy — no, make that a dark, dark, dark comedy — set in Dublin and starring more or less everyone in town." - https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/intermission-2004

Tickets are around £10 (not sure if there's a booking fee), please buy your own: https://kilntheatre.com/whats-on/intermission/book/751449/

I haven't been inside the Kiln cinema or theatre before, let's try and meet in the entrance hall - if that's tricky, I will post a comment on the evening saying where we are.

We can go for a drink afterwards to compare notes about the film, and to chat generally.
