Want to meet other artists in your city and stay accountable to your drawing goals? Then sharpen your pencils and get your favourite sketchbook ready for Drink & Draw CDMX. This event is held weekly in Mexico City where artists of all levels meet, drink and draw! It is very casual - have a beer or a tea, all are welcome.

Join me in Chepultepec gardens for this beginner-friendly watercolour workshop where we paint lupin flowers and create your own Mother's Day Greeting Card or just keep for yourself! I share different techniques including composition and colour mixing, brushwork and more throughout that will help you achieve beautiful lupins artwork. It is a great activity to give to your mom or participate with her as a gift for Mothers Day.
AGENDA:
We will warm up with some watercolour exercises including colour blends, using wet-on-wet technique and brushwork. Next, you willl paint some draft lupins paintings and I do a demostration. Choose blue, purple, pink or a combination of colours for your lupins that you would like. Next, we paint on the cards. Then, you can add ink to the flowers if you like. Lastly, add messaging on front or inside the card: Feliz dia de madre, Love You or Happy Mother's Day! Lettering samples will be provided with a short lettering demonstration.Supplies Included You Borrow:
