Drinkn'Doodle #36

Hey Doodlers,

We've got some exciting news for you. We've been aware for some time that Sandbar is a bit of a trek for some of the people who would like to attend our event but live quite far away, so to make things easier we are hosting our next event in May and many more in the future at The Wonder Inn (https://www.facebook.com/Thewonderinn/) (located in the city centre next to Shudehill Bus station).

We are very excited about this new partnership because The Wonder Inn (https://www.facebook.com/Thewonderinn/) (for those of you that haven't been) is a wonderful creative wellness centre for the community. They host a range of events from food waste cookery workshops, to film screenings art installations and also have a daily cafe / bar.

Drinkn'Doodle #36 will be all about taking drawing risks and letting loose. We will be doing lots of mini challenges to unlock your creativity throughout the evening so please arrive no later than 8pm.

We will be providing all of the materials for the evening (we will be providing some watercolour pencils, and watercolours as well as coloured markers in case you feel pens aren't enough), play doh, paper, but please feel free to bring your special set of much loved pencils, or coloured markers.

All drawing and art levels welcome, so don't worry if you're a proper doodler or just someone who casually likes to draw every now and then.

Just RSVP on our Meetup page, and pay £3.00 in cash when you arrive.

Please only RSVP if you're at least 95% sure you're coming to the meetup. It takes a lot of planning and cost in materials to organise this and it's pretty stressful to constantly guess how many people are coming because then we might lose out on cost of materials.

P.S - The £3.00 pounds you pay for the meetup, covers Meetup's monthly membership fees, and materials.

On another note, we will be launching our website very soon, and we're adding a creative directory section, so if you'd like to be featured in it and you've attended Drinkn'Doodle before, please send us an email to drinkndoodle@gmail.com with your full name, a web link with your portfolio of work (e.g website, blog, Instagram, or Behance), and your work title (e.g graphic designer, photographer, visual artist, etc).
