Using Value Stream Mapping in the Real World

Everyone is talking about the flow of value these days: for example, the recent SAFe 6.0 release focuses heavily on Flow Metrics. To make this work, there is a need to represent how value flows through an organization, and Value Stream Mapping is designed to do that.

We welcome David Marsh from Singapore who has a wealth of experience across the globe. He will be leading us through this interactive session using real world examples:

• what the “unit of value” is for a few streams.
• using Value Streams to define who needs to be on a cross-functional team to maximize flow efficiency.
• how Values Streams help us to see the “big picture” so that we can solve organizational problems holistically, taking us a step towards systems thinking.
