# Beginner Python & Linux Automation Workshop

Welcome to a beginner-friendly workshop where you can learn basic Python programming and use Python to automate simple tasks on a real Linux server.
Python is widely used for backend development, automation, data processing, AI, and many other areas of technology. Linux is also commonly used to run servers and backend systems. Learning both together is a great first step toward programming and system development.
No previous Python or Linux experience is required.

## What You Will Learn

During this two-hour workshop, we will cover:

• How to connect to a remote Ubuntu Linux server
• Essential Linux commands for navigating and managing files
• Basic Python syntax and how to run Python programs
• Variables, conditions, loops, and functions
• Reading and writing files with Python
• Running Linux commands from Python
• Creating a simple automation script

The code examples will be short and beginner-friendly, but each example will introduce an important programming concept.
Rather than only watching a presentation, you will type commands, write code, and run programs directly in a real Linux environment.

## One Month of Free Server Access

Each participant will receive an account for a remote Linux server.
You can continue using the server for one month after the workshop at no additional cost. During this period, you can practise Linux commands, edit Python programs, experiment with automation scripts, and review everything covered during the event.
This gives you a safe environment where you can continue learning without installing Linux on your own computer.

## About the Organizer

I have over ten years of experience in the IT industry, including work with Linux shell scripting, Java backend development, Android application development, databases, and cloud servers.
This workshop is designed to provide a relaxed and practical introduction to the tools and concepts commonly used in real development environments.

To provide individual support, attendance is limited to two participants.

## What to Bring

Please bring a laptop.
Windows, macOS, Chromebook, and Linux laptops are all welcome.
Please make sure your laptop can connect to Wi-Fi.

## Participation Fee

2,000 yen
The fee includes participation in the two-hour workshop and one month of access to the Linux practice server.

Pythonプログラミングの基礎と、Pythonを使った簡単なLinux作業の自動化を学ぶ、初心者向けのワークショップです。
Pythonは、バックエンド開発、自動化、データ処理、AIなど、幅広い分野で利用されています。また、Linuxは多くのサーバーやバックエンドシステムで使われています。
PythonとLinuxを一緒に学ぶことは、プログラミングやシステム開発を始めるための、とても良い第一歩です。
PythonやLinuxを使った経験がなくても問題ありません。

## このワークショップで学ぶこと

2時間のワークショップで、以下の内容を扱います。

• リモートのUbuntu Linuxサーバーへの接続
• ファイルやディレクトリを操作する基本的なLinuxコマンド
• Pythonプログラムの書き方と実行方法
• 変数、条件分岐、繰り返し処理、関数
• Pythonを使ったファイルの読み書き
• PythonからLinuxコマンドを実行する方法
• 簡単な自動化スクリプトの作成

コードは初心者でも理解しやすい短い内容にしますが、それぞれのコードを通して、プログラミングの重要な考え方を学びます。
説明を聞くだけではなく、実際にLinuxサーバーへ接続し、自分でコマンドを入力してPythonコードを動かします。

## Linuxサーバーを1か月無料で利用できます

参加者には、リモートLinuxサーバーの専用アカウントを提供します。
ワークショップ終了後も、追加料金なしで1か月間サーバーを利用できます。
期間中は、Linuxコマンドの練習、Pythonコードの作成、ワークショップ内容の復習、自動化スクリプトの実験などを自由に行えます。
自分のパソコンにLinuxをインストールしなくても、実際のLinux環境を使って学習を続けることができます。

私はIT業界で10年以上の経験があり、Linuxシェルスクリプト、Javaバックエンド開発、Androidアプリ開発、データベース、クラウドサーバーなどに携わってきました。
このワークショップでは、実際の開発環境で使われる基本的な技術や考え方を、リラックスした雰囲気で分かりやすく紹介します。

一人ひとりをサポートできるよう、参加者は2名までとします。

ノートパソコンをご持参ください。
Windows、MacBook、Chromebook、Linuxのいずれでも参加できます。
Wi-Fiへ接続できる状態でお持ちください。
