What we’re about
Welcome! Greetings in the bounty of the Earth Mother, the blessings of the Gods, and the Way of the Wise. This meetup is run by the Paumanok Island Protogrove of ADF, based in Long Island, NY. ADF (Ar nDraiocht Fein: A Druid Fellowship) is an international fellowship devoted to creating a public tradition of Neopagan Druidism.
We hold open, public rituals for the 8 High Days every year, as well as gathering for additional rituals, to host classes, to meet in fellowship, to participate in charity events, and to support our community. Rituals and other events are usually held in the Huntington, Long Island area (on the Nassau/Suffolk county border), but are sometimes further east.
The Protogrove mainly follows the Norse tradition. However, any given ritual may draw from a different Indo-European culture (including Celtic, Roman, Greek, Vedic, Slavic, etc.). Check event descriptions for more details!
