Public Summer Solstice Ritual

At the Summer Solstice, the power of the sun is at its height! The days are long, the nights are short, and summer has begun. Yet the Solstice is a precipice, and after this point, the days will start to shorten again. Join Paumanok Island Protogrove as we celebrate the Summer Solstice together, as a community!

All people of good will are welcome! Family participation is encouraged. The location for this ritual is still to be decided.

We will meet at 2:00 pm for a pre-ritual briefing. The rite will begin promptly at 2:30 pm.

Please feel free to bring personal offerings for the ancestors, nature spirits, and deities. We will also provide materials for offering. We will be in a public park, so if you bring alcoholic beverages as offerings, please remember to put them in a nondescript container.
