Public Lughnassadh Ritual

At Lughnassadh we celebrate the height of summer and the beginning of the grain harvest. Let us come together to acknowledge each other's hard work and contributions, and appreciate what we harvest in our own lives. Join Paumanok Island Protogrove as we celebrate Lughnassadh as a community!

All people of good will are welcome! Family participation is encouraged. This event will take place as part of LONG ISLAND PAGAN PRIDE at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook.

We will meet at 2:00 pm for a pre-ritual briefing. The rite will begin promptly at 2:30 pm.

Please feel free to bring personal offerings for the ancestors, nature spirits, and deities. We will also provide materials for offering. We will be in a public park, so if you bring alcoholic beverages as offerings, please remember to put them in a nondescript container.
