Public Autumn Equinox Ritual

The Autumn Equinox is the time when light and dark are in balance as we move into the dark half of the year. From this point on, the days will grow shorter and the nights longer. This is all the traditional time of the fruit harvest. Join Paumanok Island Protogrove as we celebrate the Autumn Equinox as a community!

All people of good will are welcome! Family participation is encouraged.

We will meet for a pre-ritual briefing at 2:00 pm. The rite itself will begin promptly at 2:30 pm.

Please feel free to bring personal offerings for the ancestors, nature spirits, and deities. We will also provide materials for offering. We will be in a public park, so if you bring alcoholic beverages as offerings, please remember to put them in a nondescript container.
