Note: This post is to spread awareness about the drum circle at Eeyore's birthday and is not affiliated with the Friends of the Forest Foundation or the official Eeyores Foundation.

The last Saturday of April marks one of Austin's longest-running traditions (Eeyores birthday) a one-day festival that brings together a variety of Austin subcultures (Eeyores a free, non-profit event).

Things start at 11am and take place at:

Pease Park
1100 Kingsbury St,
Austin, TX 78703

Live music is scheduled from 12-6pm and activities include face painting, park games, henna tattoo stations, food, drinks, community dance/ drum circles; as well as a live donkey (Eeyore).

Rideshare / biking is encouraged as there is virtually no parking at the park. The park is easily accessible from the Shoal Creek Hike and Bike Trail or the Capital Metro 338 bus (Lamar/45th Street route).
