What we’re about
I have played the drums for decades, both professionally and just for myself. I gave up a musical career, and became an AP US History teacher until I retired. Now I play electronic drums, and I currently have two adult students. I am looking for folks aged 21 and up (and up!) who have begun to play and would like help improving their craft.
I will work with you on technique, independence, syncopation, polyrhythms, improvisation, rock, funk, and jazz music. I have decades of tips and suggestions to pass along, and I can craft Spotify playlists tailored to your current musical ability. Those lists will evolve as your abilities improve.
I charge $35 for each “event” for the first month, and $50 for said event after that. I am looking for adults excited about and dedicated to improving their craft. All you’ll need for each event is a pair of your favorite sticks!
