Welcome to Drum n Dance
This group is dedicated to drumming and dancing.
There are many ways to learn to play the drums and they all have their pros and cons. We concentrate mainly on improvisation and creativity. When you hear a piece of music you'd naturally want to be able to play along with it. Wouldn't it be great if you could just do that without having to have memorized a beat? Can you just make up a rhythm on the spot? This is the approach we take to making music in the moment... The emphasis is on listening, and intuitively adding your voice to the rhythmic conversation that is in progress...
