Group drumming is transformative and powerful connecting body, mind and spirit.
It has been scientifically proven that group drumming supports the healing process and has been shown to enhance immune system functioning, improve mood, stimulate circulation, reduce stress and stimulate activation of neuropathways for better brain function.
Cancer patients, Survivors and their Caregivers are invited to come and experience for themselves the fun and powerful benefits of drumming in community.
Deborah Bortscher will create a safe and supportive environment in which participants can learn some fundamental techniques and rhythms and explore their individual creativity to create a cohesive group experience of in the moment music making.
No prior musical training is necessary to participate in this hands on program
Instruments will be provided or you may bring your own.
