How did you hear about us?

I received a drum as a birthday gift and had no idea what to do with it. Came across some interesting characters who led the way. I havent looked back! :)

Do you have a drum or percussion instrument? If so tell us about it!

I have a large assortment of instruments from around the world.

Do you play other instruments, if so which?

Native American Flutes and an assortment of gongs, singing bowls and melodic soft sounds instruments.

What are your goals as a drummer/musician?

Drumming has brought me so much joy and many friends. My goal is to build community using drumming as the modality. As drums are used in almost every culture around the world they can bring people together in conversation without saying a word. Its so beautiful. I heard the call to facilitate the listening so we can hear each other communicate and add our voice, our story to the music being created. I also feel the deep magic of traditional rhythms that bring culture alive. The dance, the chants, the ancient rhythms booming forth telling the stories down through the ages. I love learning these rhythms as they take me deep into understanding the human condition. Drumming is universal. I can go anywhere in the world and feel connected to the rhythm of life.

I am a certified Music Medicine faciltator, Drum Circle Facilitator, Soundscape facilitator NA flute player, musical storyteller and laughter yoga leader. Contact me to book a drumming event for your workplace, school, party, community.
