Welcome to our Drum and De-stress meetup group, focused on promoting wellbeing for caregivers. Join us as we come together for hand drumming with discussion of a weekly theme woven through. Simple and fun, no prior drumming experience needed. Djembe drums provided. Facilitated sessions, 60 minutes for drumming and discussion, + bonus 30 minutes for a cuppa and short relaxation activity. So many of us give additional care to loved ones at some point during our life (eg due to disability, neuro-diversity, frailty, illness) and whether you're caregiving a lot or on occasion, this group is a welcoming space for all. Let's drum together to cultivate connection and wellbeing.
Two Sunday sessions soon - I look forward to seeing you at one or both of these introductory sessions, and we can talk about best days and times from here.
We'll be meeting in the lovely space of a studio at 7 Salisbury Crescent, Colonel Light Gardens on the following dates:-
- Sunday 27th October - 1.30 to 3pm
- Sunday 3rd November - 1.30 to 3pm
Introductory pricing = First session free! Then $20 per session.
