Drumming & Dancing

Hello Friends,

Here are the details for our next event:

Drumming & Dancing @ Studio Exhale

Hosted by: Jim Tull & Brenna Corrigan

What: Drum circle with free-form dancing. Feel free to drum and/or dance as the spirit moves you. Vocal improvisation is also welcomed (and encouraged)!

When: Saturday, May 25th from 7:30 PM to 9 PM

Where: Studio Exhale

1263 Oaklawn Ave

Cranston, RI

How much: 5 bucks at the door. (More if you have it, less if you don’t.)

Who: All are welcome!

Bring: Drums/percussion/other instruments if you have some (if you don't, fear not... we have a bunch). Whatever drumming and/or dancing experience you might have (none works great!) Flow toys welcome. There are folding chairs (which sometimes fill up quickly), blankets & exercise balls to sit on. If you need/want something specific to make yourself feel comfortable, feel free to BYO chair/mat/pillow/blanket/seat.

We hope to drum & dance with you on the 25th!!

P.S. To preserve the awesome dance/yoga floor, the studio we rent has a no shoes in the main studio space policy, which has come as a surprise to some newer attendees. Shoes are left in the lobby area. You're free to be barefoot or wear your socks - your cutest and coziest socks or your most gnarly socks with a big toe sticking out. It's all good! (If you have dance shoes that have never been worn outside, you can wear those as well.)
