First jam: rescheduled

RESCHEDULED EVENT:
First jam session! My name is Lucian and along with my good buddy Chris, I'll be leading the group. I will teach the beginner techniques of creating the sounds of the djembe, and we will quickly move into warming up, and then let the jam begin. I have many drum beats to share and/or teach the group; I think it will be a fun time. Let's meet by the musical fence in MacDonald Park, Medford, MA. There should be parking at this venue, in the park parking lot.
Things to bring: 1) A drum: we need djembes to start. If you don't have one and would like to attend, please let me know and MAYBE I can have one for you. I will have shakers to play if you're down with that. 2) A chair: please bring your own comfortable chair: lawn chairs, camping chairs should be fine. I plan to stand for most of it, but I have a special harness for my djembe. 3) Water: we'll be outside, so stay hydrated. 4) Sunblock: there's no shade in that spot!
For these first couple of meetups, please RSVP ahead of time to let me know how much interest there is in this event. If you need a drum provided for you, please give me some time to procure one (at least a week). I look forward to meeting all of you!
