The Chicago Drupal Meet Up Group is proud to present at least two featured presentations about the hottest Drupal topics each month. We have room for 75 people and all skill levels are welcomed. If you are brand new to Drupal we recommend attending one of our free monthly training workshops.
Gary Koehl will be presenting....My First Team Based Drupal Project...the development process of my first team based Drupal project from start to finish. The presentation will include a look at how the deployment environment was created with the help of Drush, and how it tied in SVN to the project. The Features module will also be discussed and how we handled some of its limitations. Gary will also briefly touch on how we used the migrate module.
Joe Moses will be presenting....Swimming in Commerce.....go beyond a quick dive-in to show you how to stay afloat, navigate and effectively use the Commerce module(s). He’ll explain its features and show you how to use it from a site builder/admin perspective. To bring it all together, he’ll include a couple case studies and show examples of some sites running in the wild.
Tim Madden will be presenting...Taming Git...continuing the talk from last month with focus on using git itself -- and drush too! (We will not go through the slides again, but if you missed them you can review them here: http://presentations.connect2mrkt.com/taming_git/ )
Almost every CDMUG presentation is recorded and now available online @ http://cdmug.org/videos
