Proud to announce we're teaming up with CMS Expo for Meetup Monday Night. Our meetup will be one of ten CMS user groups meeting at CMS Expo! Free to everyone (CMS Expo attendee or not), this awesome community event is a must-attend for content management fans. We expect hundreds of CMS users to attend, register for free here (http://cmsexpo.net/register). Hoping everyone can attend to show the power of Drupal in numbers!
BEFORE MEETUP will be a Drupal only "Cocktail Hour / Open House" at Creative Coworking (http://creativecoworking.com/), a members-only workspace and meeting place, founded by Angela and Stelios Valavanis. Angela has been in the publishing industry for over thirteen years and is currently a freelance writer/editor. Stel has been in the technology industry for over twenty years and owns onShore Networks (http://onshore.com). Early CDMUG members will remember onShore as our original meetup location back in 2006! Snack/drinks provided courtesy of Creative Coworking and then we will walk to CMS Expo as a group. Feel free to find us at directly at CMS Expo, but please join us if arriving early.

Meet Up Presentations:
Drupal Around the World by Matthew Lechleider Drupal Community by Kieran Lal Matthew Lechleider is a product of the Nintendo Generation. He has spent 10 - 15 hours online every day since before the Internet was cool. He enjoys speaking at conferences, skateboarding, music festivals, Linux and Drupal. Organizing the Chicago Drupal Meet Up Group is one his favorite aspects of the Drupal community. Matthew provides high performance Drupal development and training services as PhamilyDev.net (http://phamilydev.net/).
Kieran Lal is the Technical Director of Enterprise Sales at Boston-based Acquia (http://www.acquia.com/). In this role, he provides technical leadership to the Acquia sales team and works closely with Acquia's customers. He has been a leader in the Drupal community since 2004, when he earned his nickname, Amazon, by following a dream that he was biking through the Amazon river basin. That spirit of adventure continues in his multiple roles within the Drupal community today.
The Chicago Drupal Meet Up Group is proud to present at least two featured presentations about the hottest Drupal topics each month. Please remember that our May monthly meetup will be happening at same time as 10 other user groups within the CMS Expo conference. We have room for 100 Drupal users and all skill levels are welcomed. If you're brand new to Drupal we recommend attending one of our free monthly training workshops.
All meetups will be in traditional CDMUG fashion. No dress code, relaxed attitudes, open ideas, laptop encouraged, remember business cards, and we will probably go for a beer afterward.
