In the presentation, we'll walk through a real-world example of extending a theme's administrative configuration options to include social media links that will automatically output and display the links with there icons in your theme.


We are website building enthusiasts who focus on using the Drupal Content Management System (CMS) to build modern websites. We enjoy discussing web design & development topics and tackling challenges in website construction.

We discuss topics such as website building basics, user experience, web design, templating, web development, web accessibility, eCommerce, Drupal, PHP, Symphony, Composer, TWIG, YML, Linux, and much more.

We meet the first Thursday of each month starting around 6 pm. During our meetups, we discuss projects, help those with questions on getting started and usually have a presentation.

We meet in the conference room in the Feather Sound Panera Bread. Meetings are free if we buy food. Please tell the cashier you are with the group in the conference room. We have the room reserved only for our group from 7-8 but please feel free to come before hand to socialize and enjoy dinner
