Wanted: Vibrant Volunteers to Help Organize and Execute the Greatest Drupal Camp in Chicago
Does the idea of helping to organize a conference sound exciting to you? Do you enjoy logistics and planning? Have you ever fantasized about finances? Are you a person? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then MidCamp has a spot for you.
This month, we're talking MidCamp and the Volunteer Experience. Join Drupal Celebrity Kevin Thull, Andrea "ZenDoodles" Soper, Avi "Froboy" Schwab, and JD "Dorf" Flynn as we talk what goes into organizing a MidCamp, what the volunteer experience is like, the various roles available for volunteering and organizing, and how organizing a regional camp has affected us personally and professionally.
If you're interested in what goes on the 51 weeks that there isn't a MidCamp, have questions or suggestions for the organizers, or just want to learn more about the event itself, then come spend some time with few of the organizers and ask away. This will be an open-forum Q&A session.
We look forward to seeing you there!
