Drupal Tech Talk 23: Talking with Machines

Details
Voor Drupal Tech Talk nummer 23 heten we je welkom op het kantoor van een van de organisatoren: LimoenGroen.
Sessie 1: User Interface Text - Antje Lorch
UI texts are all those words that users see when they interact with a Drupal site - from buttons and page titles to help texts on admin pages - and they are an important factor in the user experience, especially for new users.
But while we develop Drupal core and contrib, we treat them as an after-thought - with less guidance then we for example to comments in code in the coding standards. And at the same time many people are writing whole books to document how to use Drupal.
How can we improve that? Don't expect just a talk: Antje is looking for your input as well.
Sessie 2: Fun with Bluetooth - Niels Leenheer
Time for JavaScript to get physical. With WebBluetooth the Chrome browser can actually take control of all kinds of physical devices in the real world like lightbulbs, robots and even drones. And nowadays you can even run JavaScript straight on microcontrollers and even little Bluetooth beacons. This talk will teach you the basics that you need to get started and give a peek at some more advanced topics like building your own Bluetooth devices using just JavaScript.
This fun-packed session was one of our favorites at Frontend United, so if you missed it then, this is your chance!
