**Joris van Tilburg (React Online) — Browser support voor de View Transition API, wat betekent dit voor Drupal?**
Met steeds meer browsersupport voor de View Transition API en met name voor multi-page apps (MPA), is het interessant om te kijken wat dit kan betekenen voor Drupal. Met geanimeerde pagina overgangen met gebruik van progressive enhancement kunnen Drupal websites zich steeds meer gedragen als een echte webapp. Deze presentatie geeft een introductie over de View Transition API. Wat is het? Hoeveel browser support is er? Je krijgt ook praktische voorbeelden hoe dit is te gebruiken in Drupal.

**David Becker (Finalist) — Drupal on MongoDB: A Snappy Solution for a Sluggish Site?**
You may have experienced that a Drupal website with many authenticated users can become slow very quickly. With many authenticated users and lots of personalized content, you cannot rely on caching to improve your website's performance. With little caching, most requests will result in direct Drupal calls, which will spend most of the time waiting on a database query. In such cases, the success of your project depends on which database you use and how you will use it. MongoDB is a database designed to handle numerous queries and serve quick results. It allows you to scale your project to support over a million authenticated users.
In this talk, I will explain what MongoDB is, how it can be used with Drupal, and which performance improvements it will bring. I will also discuss the current status of the MongoDB contrib module and its relation to Drupal core.
