Join us on Thursday, July 16 at 7:00 PM for another Drupal Ottawa meetup!

This month, we're excited to welcome Joseph Olstad, who will be presenting:

## Creating a Service Cluster Using Tailscale and Apache2

As self-hosting, AI tooling, and distributed infrastructure become increasingly common, managing secure access to services across multiple locations can quickly become complicated.
In this session, Joseph will walk through how to create a service cluster using Tailscale, Apache2, ISPConfig, and Let's Encrypt certificates to expose services securely across different environments.

Using a real-world example, he'll demonstrate how to:

  • Connect systems located behind residential and business networks
  • Configure HTTPS endpoints with free Let's Encrypt certificates
  • Manage multiple services through clean, user-friendly URLs
  • Apply IP-based access restrictions where appropriate
  • Expose public-facing web interfaces securely
  • Leverage ISPConfig 3.3.0 for service management

Whether you're managing Drupal infrastructure, experimenting with AI services such as Ollama, or simply interested in modern self-hosting and networking solutions, this session will provide practical insights and implementation tips you can apply to your own projects.
