Join Drupal Providence in August as we welcome Adam Bergstein, Matt Glaman, & AmyJune Hineline to share with us some highlights from Simplytest.me resent complete rewrite. During this presentation, they will share the history of simplytest.me and the steps taken to revitalize the project. They will highlight how this vision and execution of work has aligned to the teams values and helps better achieve the projects mission. Together we will review the new architecture of the site and some key improvements made to improve the service. Finally, they will share the first official roadmap and present the future priorities and quarterly delivery targets of the project.
Adam Bergstein - Acquia
Adam is a Director of Engineering at Acquia. He brings experience in leading product engineering teams, technical architecture and a passion for helping people work together at top-notch productivity. A mentor and team player to the core, Adam participates in the open source Drupal community and views projects as opportunities for teams to grow and shine.
Adam gives back to the community through porting of contributed modules, like Taxonomy Menu and Password Policy. He is the lead of SimplyTest.me, a Drupal community testing tool. He participated in Drupal's Governance Task Force, an effort aimed at community continuous improvement. He blogs and loves speaking about what he has learned and can often be found presenting at Drupal Camps and DrupalCons. Adam serves on the IT Board of Juniata College.
Adam holds a masters degree in Computer Science / Information Security from Penn State University and a bachelor degree in Computer Science from Juniata College. He lives in a small town in Pennsylvania where he enjoys running and seeking out great food and drink, especially craft beer. His life is enriched by his wife, two daughters, and a dog.
Matt Glaman - Bluehorn Digital (https://bluehorn.digital)
Matt Glaman is the owner of Bluehorn Digital and a Drupal Commerce specialist – working at the intersection of Drupal and e-commerce. Right now he’s focusing on headless architectures and decoupled system integrations. He is also the author of the Drupal 8 Development Cookbook, one of the first published books on Drupal 8.
AmyJune Hineline - Kanopi Studios (https://kanopi.com)
AmyJune is the Community Ambassador at Kanopi Studios. A 2021 Aaron Winborn Award Winner. She works in the drupal contribution space as a mentor, initiative lead, and runs first-time contribution workshops at the local, regional and national level. AmyJune is also on the CWG community health team. She has a magical life away from Drupal where she enjoys music festivals and gallivanting in the woods looking for lost treasure.
