MCP: Model Context Protocol + AI Playground (In-person, Toronto)

Join us on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, at 6:30 PM for a session hosted by Aidan Foster and Pierre Marcel on using MCP (Model Context Protocol) for web development.

Event Details:

• Location: CSI Spadina - 192 Spadina Ave., Toronto, ON M5T 2C2
  (3rd floor - Viola Desmond room)
• Date and Time: June 25th, 2025, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
• Topic: MCP (Model Context Protocol) Playground.

Location Note: This meeting will be held in the Viola Desmond room on the 3rd floor. Access will be via the door to the stairs, not the usual main entrance to the basement area. We will send the building access code on the morning of the meetup, via email and chat.

Session Topic:
This session will be an MCP playground! Join us for informal demos of a number of different MCP applications and workflows.

We'll explore examples such as:

• Jira ticket creation using MCPs
• Drupal CMS as an MCP server
• Figma to code MCP workflows
• Interactions with Google Docs via MCPs

We also invite the community to bring and demo MCPs they like working with. Come share your favourite tools and discoveries!
