Annual Millennium Park Spring Clean Event!
Details
Hi Adam,
We are thrilled to hear of the size of your group. Because your group is so large, we are going to assign your team to the North Kent Trailhead instead of the Millennium Park core. It will be so impactful. Zoe will be your project leader, same cell number: 616-826-0438. She will be in a Kent County Park truck and have all the supplies setup at a table at 9:45 am.

What to Wear
Please dress for the weather! Volunteers will be picking up trash along roadways and trails, so long pants, warm layers, and sturdy closed-toe boots or shoes are recommended. Reflective safety vests will be provided when working near roadways.
***
What to Bring
Kent County Parks provides yellow reflective safety vests, tools, trash bags, grabbers, and work gloves. Please bring bottled water and personal outdoor items.
***
Weather
Volunteer activities are not cancelled due to light rain or snow; however, projects may be delayed or cancelled for severe weather or advisories. If weather becomes a concern, we will contact registered volunteers 24 hours in advance when possible.
***
Waivers
The waiver agreement will be available to sign on site at check-in. This helps us keep track of service hours and these can provide valuable match hours for grants and special projects.
***
Pets
Although leashed pets are welcome in most parks, pets (except service animals) are not permitted at volunteer events due to safety concerns.
