The Des Moines chapter of the Iowa Data Professionals (IDPA) will meet the Monday before the 2nd Wednesday of the new month. The 2nd Wednesday of the new month is reserved by Quad City PASS.

Meetup Organizers will start the Microsoft Teams meeting at 5:30 PM, Central Time (22:30 UTC), and will then admit attendees into the remote meeting.

At 5:50 PM Central Time (23:00 UTC) our Local Group Leader will call the meeting to order with brief announcements.

Description:
This demo-driven presentation will showcase how I have used Claude AI to help problem solve database tasks using real, hands-on demos. We will see how it can handle PowerShell and T-SQL scripting challenges. We’ll discuss both strengths and weaknesses in using AI for code generation. I will also use this session to show and explain why I have used Claude as a great tool for unique, one-time tasks rather than reparative tasks. Will discuss ways to use AI effectively without hurting system stability or team productivity.
