Heads up -- we are very excited to announce a new venue for this months Meetup which is graciously offered to us by Miami Web Staff. So make sure you write down the address, which is going to be 235 Lincoln Road, Suite 400, Miami Beach, Fl, 33139. Basically, its located right off of the east-most side of Lincoln road, in South Beach.
As for the Meetup itself, we have some very interesting stuff to cover. Celery and RabbitMQ is making a comeback, and Adrian Rego will show us how you can use Celery/Django to process image resizing asynchronously from a RabbitMQ queue. I have also had the opportunity to look at MongoDB, and will be showing some code that showcases the new, "native" support for non-relational backends that Alex Gaynor is working on right now for the upcoming Django 1.3 release.
