Friday Game Night & Open Hangout: Play Something—or Don’t
Details
Friday night is the Clubhouse’s weekly open hangout: games if you want them, conversation if you don’t, snacks, cats, and a room full of unusually likable humans.
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS
We start gathering around 6:00 PM. Some people play board games, card games, party games, Jackbox, or whatever strange box appeared on the table. Other people talk on the couch, watch, snack, drift between groups, or arrive after everybody has forgotten what time it is.
You do not need to know any games. You do not have to bring one. You are allowed to come primarily to hang out.
PICK YOUR LEVEL
• Join a quick, easy-to-learn game.
• Settle into a longer board game.
• Shout answers at a television.
• Bring something you love and can explain without a graduate seminar.
• Sit nearby, talk, watch, or quietly decompress around other humans.
NEW HERE?
Come alone. Arrive late. Leave early. We explain games, and we will not force everyone into a circle to perform a fun fact. If you are outgoing, quiet, neurodivergent, socially rusty, new in town, or simply looking for something to do on a Friday, there is room for you.
A snack or drink to share is welcome but never required. Guests are welcome. Cats may evaluate you.
Some Fridays develop a featured game, trivia round, tournament, food drive, or other side quest. Those details will be added to that particular date when we actually have them.
Games are the scaffolding. The people are the point.
