"Random Left Overs Potluck" and Crazy Dinner Movies.
Details
Hey gang,
We know we’re probably going to have a heck of a lot of leftovers from Thanksgiving, so we thought it’d be fun to do a Potluck of Leftovers — but feel free to bring anything. Half the fun will be how random the food table ends up.
To go with that, the movie theme is: Dysfunctional Dinners & Weird Guests. Some comedies, some thrillers, some offbeat classics — all centered around very cursed gatherings.
We’ll show trailers and then vote on 2 movies to watch.

### Movie List
The Last Supper (1995)
Dark comedy about a group of grad students who invite awful people to dinner to “debate” them… and then things take a sharp moral nosedive.
The Perfect Host (2010/11)
A criminal crashes what he thinks is a safe dinner party, only to discover the host is way stranger (and more dangerous) than he is. David Hyde Pierce being delightfully unhinged.
The Invitation (2015)
A man attends a dinner party hosted by his ex and her new partner. The vibe is “cult meeting with wine and trauma,” and it slow-burns from awkward to very unsettling.
Home for the Holidays (1995)
Actual Thanksgiving with an aggressively messy family. Funny, chaotic, and surprisingly warm under all the dysfunction.
Son in Law (1993)
90s Pauly Shore chaos: farm family Thanksgiving meets SoCal weirdo. Goofy, big-hearted, and a good “palate cleanser” between heavier stuff.
Death at a Funeral (2007 – UK version)
Technically a funeral, emotionally a family holiday gone completely off the rails — secrets, drugs, and lots of British panic.

We’ll hang out, eat whatever shows up, run the trailers, and then vote on which two to play.
Drop in when you can, bring leftovers or snacks if you want (totally optional), and expect a very cozy, very dysfunctional “family dinner” night.
