We are bringing an accessibility special panel event. A design inclusive of the needs of all users including people with special needs just not only makes your product more user friendly but also increases the usage of your offerings.
During this session, we will discuss the intricacies of implementing accessibility into your applications and new concepts such as Assistive AI.
Our guests at this event are senior UX designers with expertise in accessibility.
Sole Rodriguez, UXD & Accessibility Advocate
Based in Houston, Texas, and originally from Madrid, Spain, Sole is a dedicated UX Designer and Researcher passionate about accessibility and AI. Her personal journey, shaped by dyslexia and autoimmune conditions, drives her commitment to raising awareness and promoting support systems. With disabilities running in her family, Sole understands the importance of inclusivity and leverages her experience to create user-friendly digital products.
David Ruiz, Senior UX Designer
David is a UX designer based in Houston, Texas, with a Master's degree in Communication Studies from New Mexico State University. Currently at Halliburton, he specializes in user-centric design, creating wireframes and prototypes to improve software applications. Previously, David worked at Chevron Phillips Chemical and Service Corporation International, where he led user research and web accessibility initiatives. His expertise includes tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD, and methodologies such as Agile and Design Thinking.
