As Slack evolves from a collaboration hub into an AI-powered work surface, teams are beginning to rethink how work gets done inside the tools they already use every day. In this session, Joyce Kay Avila explores how Slackbot and related AI capabilities can help summarize conversations, surface action items, answer questions, and keep work moving without leaving the flow of discussion.

We’ll look at emerging patterns for agentic collaboration in Slack, including Claude Tag and what it means to delegate work to AI while maintaining context, visibility, and governance.

You’ll walk away with a clearer view of how AI can extend collaboration inside Slack, plus practical ideas for using these capabilities to reduce friction and keep teams moving.
