DUB|SEC July 2024 Meetup

The July Dub|Sec social will take place on Wednesday 31st July.

There's a venue change this month to Elle's Suite at the Iveagh Garden Hotel. We'll be there from 6.30pm. If you are coming, please signup on the meetup page so we know how many to expect.

Talk 1: Threat Landscape Mapping with ATT&CK Navigator by Lisa Deery

In this talk Lisa shows how the ATT&CK Navigator approach is threat actor-centric and can be adjusted to specific sectors. She will demonstrate how it can be used by both clients and cybersecurity professionals to conduct gap analysis versus mitigations in place, detection rules, and pen-testing scopes. The talk will show how this provides a solid foundation for data-informed structured threat hunting.

Talk 2: Blueprints for Resilience: Navigating AI Integration and Security in the SDLC by Matej Zachar
This session will dissect the core challenges organizations face when embedding AI functionalities into their products or adopting third-party AI integrations. Matej will focus on leveraging frameworks like capAI, RISK AI RMF, and Microsoft's HAX toolkit to address vulnerabilities and implement best practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. Whether developing AI capability on your own or just integrating it from a 3rd party, gain insights into fortifying your AI initiatives against emerging threats and ensuring a secure, compliant, and resilient cloud presence.
