About us

China keeps coming up. In conversations, in your industry, in things you read. And yet most people in Dubai have never really gone there with a plan — or gone at all.
This group is for people who are genuinely curious about China: as a place to do business, to explore opportunities, to understand the world a little better. You don't need to be an importer or a supply chain expert to belong here. You just need to be the kind of person who thinks there's probably something there for me — I just haven't figured out what yet.
We meet for honest, low-key conversations. Just real talk about what China looks like today — and how to approach it with intention.

China keeps coming up. But most people haven't gone - or haven't gone with a real purpose.

Maybe you've thought about it for your business. Maybe a supplier is based there, or a competitor is sourcing there, or you've heard about the trade fairs and wondered what they're actually like.

Maybe you've just had this nagging feeling that China is a bigger opportunity than you've been able to get your head around.

Whatever brought you here — you're in the right place.

I'm hosting a small, casual coffee / tea session to have an open conversation about China: what it's like to go there with a business mindset, what's realistic, what's changed, and whether a guided, small-group trip might actually be something you'd want to do.

This is not a lecture or seminar. It's a conversation with a small group of curious people. Come with questions. Leave with clarity.

Some of what we might cover:

  • What China actually looks like for a first-time visitor
  • Trade fairs, factory visits, and supplier meetings - what's realistic for someone just starting out
  • Why so many Dubai entrepreneurs haven't made the trip yet - and what makes it easier than you think
  • What a small-group guided trip could look like, and whether that sounds useful to you

Who this is for:
Business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, or simply curious people in Dubai who have China somewhere in the back of their mind. You don't need to have a specific deal in mind. You just need to be genuinely interested.

Format: Relaxed coffee chat, 60-75 minutes, capped at 12 people

What to bring: Nothing. Just show up curious.

Spots are limited - grab one if this sounds like you.
