10:30 UFC in Match Winner Prediction by Bellinda Mesbah | G42 (https://www.linkedin.com/in/bellinda-mesbah-37067176/)

Description:
Fighting sports by nature are very unpredictable and a change in the outcome of an MMA match can happen within a second. Here we will propose an approach to predict the outcome of a UFC match card combining multiple models to produce for each match the probability of each player to win. We will tackle here how to model players' history and real-time features, what metrics to use to compare models and see how to use model output to produce relevant insights.

11:15 Dangerous Pickles by Dmitry Denisov | Careem (https://www.linkedin.com/in/dmitry-denisov-022102103/)

Description:
There can be viruses in Python too, have you never heard of this? This can be done using Python's built-in library pickle, which allows you to save variables in the file system. The documentation for this library says pickle is unsafe, but it doesn't say why.

In this session, we will show why the pickle can be dangerous and write couple viral programs using python

12:00 On my way to developing the best clustering approach by Ivan Reznikov | Middlesex University (https://www.linkedin.com/in/reznikovivan/)

Description:
Many clustering approaches have their pros and cons. But is there a chance we can combine all the best of the techniques and develop a method that will enrich the application of clustering itself?

Don't miss the event!

  • Lots of new insights, skills, and know-how
