D&D/Shadowdark One-Shot

Welcome to this level 1 one-shot session for this group! This is the second of a set of one-shots before potentially branching out into a proper campaign.

D&D/TTRPG beginners are very welcome. We play a rules light, fast, old school version of D&D called "Shadowdark" that is easy to learn (We don't play 5e).

Adventure overview:
A mysterious wizard has hired your party for a simple but dangerous task. He has given you a map leading to an old burial mound, where an ancient tomb lies hidden. Your mission is to enter the tomb and retrieve a specific ring—a bronze band set with a moonstone, adorned with woven branches—from the hand of a skeleton buried deep within.
The reward? 500 gold pieces upon successful return of the ring.

What to expect:

• Character creation: Pre-made characters are available, or you can create your own at the start of the session. You can also look at the character builder at https://shadowdarklings.net/create#! beforehand
• Rules-Light, Fast-Paced Gameplay: Shadowdark offers a streamlined experience perfect for both beginners and seasoned players. The quickstarter set is also available for free
• Focus on Fun and Collaboration: Our goal is to create a positive, cooperative environment where everyone can enjoy the adventure.
