Hello streamers! We are super excited to announce a special four-week, FREE community friendly series of 101 meetup workshops to be held at Confluent in Dubai! Please join us for these special IN-PERSON meetups where you will learn the fundamentals of Apache Kafka®.

We will meet every Thursday night during the month of May. Snacks and drinks to follow each session.

It also means that there will be a lot of questions to answer in regards to the scale of this new cluster and the kind of infrastructure to provision. Kafka Streams 101

Abstract:
Kafka Streams gives you the superpower to process data while in motion and apply your business logic on the fly. But you also know that with great powers come great responsibilities, so come and see this brief overview of Kafka Streams and some traps that you should work around.

May 25th Workshop:
Kafka Performance 101

Abstract:
Your real time pipeline is not giving the expected throughput or your cluster is behaving in an unexpected manner and you don't have any idea on how to improve the situation. Come and see some basic clues and guidelines to get the best of your Kafka platform.
