Kubernetes Starter Workshop

In October, we're revisiting the Kubernetes fundamentals with an awesome Kubernetes starter workshop. We target any engineers curious about running apps on Kube, so bring all friends and colleagues that might benefit from this.

We'll demonstrate down-to-earth usage scenarios and keep things simple. We will demystify the core concepts and hopefully encourage you to go deeper on your own. We'll share all the necessary resources to practice at home.

About our host: Andrei Petrescu leads the DevOps team @ CloudHero. He is a Certified Kubernetes Administrator and was awarded the Container Black Belt Certification by AWS. He introduced many engineering teams, large and small, into the wonderful world of Kubernetes, and he was kind enough to adapt his most popular workshop bits for our meet-up.

While attending the workshop, you will learn about the end-to-end flow of deploying applications on Kubernetes. We'll cover:

• Quick overview of Kubernetes resources.
• Building reusable Helm Charts for multiple types of applications.
• Using Argo Workflows to build CI/CD pipelines.

Mastering these topics allows all attendees to build and maintain reliable, reproducible, and scalable pipelines for any type of workload.
