Let's kick off the group with an easy, no-fuss evening — a drive out to Love Lake in the Al Qudra desert to catch the sunset and enjoy some downtime by the water. No hiking, no gear, no experience needed — just good views and good company.

What to expect:

• We'll meet at a fixed point and carpool/convoy out together (exact pinned location shared closer to the date)
• Short walk around the lake viewpoint, photos, and a relaxed hangout as the sun goes down
• Optional: bring snacks/drinks and we'll turn it into a mini picnic by the lake

What to bring:

• Your own car if you're driving, or let us know if you need a lift/can offer one
• Water — always good to have on hand even at night
• A light jacket for after sunset, it cools down fast
• Camera/phone — this spot is very photogenic, especially at dusk

Cost: Free — just fuel if you're driving, and anything you bring to share

Good to know: The road in is paved and well-visited in the evenings, so no 4x4 needed. We'll share a pinned Google Maps location and a live-location check-in for the group before heading out, just to keep everyone together.
