The first meetup and networking event (almost a mini-conference) in a few years on all topics related to WordPress is happening mid-May.
To kick off the WP Community events in the region properly, we're organizing it in a nice place in the heart of Dubai Marina (Atelier M restaurant, lounge area).

- 16:15 - 17:00: Selina Bieber (GoDaddy): Why WordPress is Still Better Than Wix/Squarespace/Shopify? + Q&A
- 17:00 - 17:45: Break for canapés and mid-session networking.
- 17:45 - 18:30: Alexander Gilmanov (WPAmelia): Launching a WordPress Plugin in 2025 - Dos and Don'ts + Q&A
- 18:30 - 19:15: Jovana Smoljanovic (WPAmelia): Content Strategy for WordPress Professionals: Hacks You're Probably Not Using (But Should) + Q&A
- 19:15 - 20:00: Closing, freeform networking (all guests are welcome to stay as restaurant guests after the event and continue networking).
The topics will provide lots of insights as all speakers have many years of hands-on experience in WordPress; however, the main value will come through networking - that's where the magic always happens!
