Our workshop is conducted by Experienced Creative Photographer's to guide you

Use the camera like a Pro and confidently Step away from Auto mode. This workshop demystifies the DSLR or Mirrorless camera so that you can be in creative and technical control of your camera. Attendees will learn how to use settings and functions of their DSLR as they practice taking digital photographs.

WHAT'S COVERED

Content:

Use the camera like a Pro and confidently Step away from Auto mode. Learn the essentials of photography. In this workshop you will discover how the camera works, learn which gear to consider, and gain a solid understanding of technical elements like ISO, white balance, aperture and shutter speed.

We also explore the creative side of photography, with a focus on the traditional rules of composition and storytelling. By the end of the workshop, you will have a newfound confidence in creating images with your camera.

DSLR or mirrorless camera with fully-charged battery (not suitable for point-and-shoot cameras or smartphones) Camera manual (optional) Empty memory card for your camera with an identifying mark Notebook Pen

Need a camera?

If you do not yet own a DSLR/Mirrorless camera, We are happy to lend you one of our DSLR’s to use during your workshop, free of charge! All you need to bring is your own SD card.

To request to reserve a camera for your workshop, just send us a message with the subject line "Extra Camera!"and include your workshops dates and order confirmation number in the email. Please note that we have a limited number of loan cameras available and the program works on a first come, first served basis.
