hey all,
looking to connect with banjo, mandolin, percussion or violin players to join guitarists who would enjoy meeting every week or so for an informal acoustic sessions in the dublin area.
focus is on upbeat popular songs, mostly released > 2000, but sounding great live with up-tempo songs is the main criteria.
this is just social, easy going, however would not be suitable for complete beginners.
if we ended up sounding like a trad band doing contemporary songs - all the better.
Aiming for group of around 10-12, hopefully 5 or 6 can pitch in with vocals.
Its easy going, no ego's, no criticism ,just a great way to spend an evening.
Diversity is important, so females please apply.
