Details

My name is Aurelie and I recently graduated with an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Limerick.

I run monthly machine learning and deep learning tutorials in Dublin with a small group of people.

For this hands‑on session, we’ll train a machine learning model in Python using Scikit‑Learn’s clustering model K-means algorithm with a publicly available dataset (the dataset itself will be a fun surprise!). Before building the model, we’ll explore, clean, and preprocess the data so it’s ready for training.

You’ll receive a Jupyter notebook with all the code, explanations, and the libraries we’ll use. We’ll work together in Google Colab, so there’s no setup required—just sign in with a Google account.

Some familiarity with Python or another programming language is helpful, but not necessary. Scikit‑Learn handles much of the heavy lifting, and I’ll guide you through each step.
📍 Format: Online, live on Zoom
🕒 Duration: 1 hour
💻 You’ll need:

  • A laptop
  • A Google account
  • The Zoom link (provided beforehand)

You’ll walk away with a reusable notebook you can adapt for your own projects.
